The first annual Summer Institute focused on using Curriculum-Based Measurement in reading. Participants learned how to implement, score, and graph probes in reading. The Institute also covered the following topics: using CBM to enhance teacher and school accountability, using data in instructional decision making, and using CBM to identify non-responders in a response-to-intervention framework. Presentation materials from the 2004 Summer Institute follow below.
This inclusive package contains an instruction manual on how to implement CBM in Reading. The handouts contain examples that are referenced in the manual. A companion PowerPoint presentation is included to help you share this information with others in your state, district, or school.
